Basingstoke Synchronised Skating
Teams
- Storm
Firstly I would like to say well
done and a massive good luck for the World Championships
to the whole of Storm, which I am proud to be
part of.
It has been an overall amazing season for us all.
We have reached, and in fact, smashed our goals
that we set at the start of the season.
Beating Croatia at the Nottingham International
started our confidence ball rolling, and we then
went to beat two teams in the French cup, Rouen,
breaking through all expectations.
After being told that due to our results from
Nottingham we had qualified to go to the World
Championships in Prague, hard work really has
begun, not only on the ice for the team, Melissa
and Fi, but the whole operation of even getting
us all to Prague.
Here I would like to say a MASSIVE thanks to
Janet Stanton and Sharon Digweed for all the hard
work they put in to getting us there and also
to Roger Gamble who has helped us all along the
way with arranging our bag packing events, we
couldn't do it without you, and also a thank you
to everyone who is and have been behind us all
the way.
Hope to see you all at the Gala evening on the
14th March, where I hope to hear you all cheering
us along.
Thank you once again.
