Rookies:

Season 2006-2007

The season has started with a number of exhibtions for the team, which has proved to be benefical. The first competition of the year was the British Championships 2007 in Deeside. The team performed the short programme very well and a weary but good performance in the long. The team is stil;l awaiting the result for the competition, which will be given in Janurary 2007.

Sad news, Miffi Wood has decided to end the season in November 2006, as she has headed off on a 4 month skiing adventure in Canada!

 

Season 2005-2006

As a new season starts so does the training, starting with an ISU training in Budapest, Hungary from 25th June - 3rd July 2005. The team had dance, gym and of course synchro with Kaisa, The Rockette's coach. The Team has also attended a NISA training camp at Lee Valley, London. The team have recently competed in the Nottingham Cup 2006, achieving a 7th place finsih of 8 teams. With this competition, the team also become British Senior Champions for the third year in a row!

The next competition on their schedule was the French Cup 2006, Rouen. The Team skated an excellent short programme to come 9th of 13 teams, sadly their long programme wasn't as good as the Team dropped to 11th place. The final competition was the BIG one - The World Synchronized Skating Championships, in Prague! The Team didn't skate to their full promise, finally finishing 20th of the 21 teams competiting. Best of luck for the next season!

Season 2004-2005

The season is under way, with the introduction of Ballet lesson with Lisa Beaumont and a training camp at the National Ice Centre, Nottingham, coached by Cathy Dalton. They have also won both British Qualifers and the British Championships 2005. Next on the competition schedule was the Spring Cup 2005 in Milan. The team skated well to achieve a 6th place finishing.

The last competition in the season for Storm was the Nottingham Cup 2005 in Great Britain! The team had fun and enjoyed skating in their own country, achieving a 4th place finish.

Season 2003-2004

The season started in good style with the team winnning the 1st British Qualifer at Nottingham in November. This was the team's first Gold medal. Next on the schedule was the British Championships at Nottinham again, the team came away with their second Gold!!!!

The team was offered a chance to compete at their first international competition, the team went to the French Cup, Rouen. For there first competition, they skated well achieving 12th place. Once back from France, the team went take into training for the World Championships in Croatia! This event was enjoyed very much by the team, they learnt lots and loved every minute!!! The team had a fall in the short and long programme, but beat two teams for the first time, coming 21st of 23 teams!!

Season 2002-2003

This is the first season of the lastest team to arrive at Basingstoke Synchro Club. Their name is Storm!!! and they live up to their name! The team's first ever competition was held on the 18th November 2002 at the National Ice Centre, Nottingham!!! They skated two clean programmes to come 2nd overall!!! which was fab!!!

The next competition was the 2003 British Championships! again they skated clean to achieve 2nd, not bad for their first season!!!
